Was looking for something new browsing Qobuz and stumbled upon Anna Ash's Sleeper this morning. She is a great vocalist and this is a fantastic album with interesting, contemporary storytelling.

I'm loving Erin Rae's Lighten Up. Her voice is very comforting and beautiful and while the storytelling is identifiable as a break-up/heartbreak/moving on album, she does it without being formulaic. It might be a little "poppy" to be considered folk, I think it's worth recognition or at least a listen.

Been meaning to mention how much I like the latest Shovels and Rope album Manticore (it’s been put since October). Probably my favorite of theirs since O’ Be Joyful. It starts out with kind of classic S & R rowdiness but I really dig this downer.

Michaela Anne's Oh To Be That Free, halfway through the year is my favorite album of 2022. Just beautiful.

This song is so good, I love songs with no real time signature that just sort of drift jazzily along.
