Figured this might be the best place to ask.
One of the limitations with the APx software is that it only supports output to ASIO devices. Not WASAPI.

A common workaround (including suggested by AP themselves) is to use 'ASIO4ALL' which acts as an ASIO to WDM bridge.

The problem: I cannot get it to see my devices on either of my machines. The only device it can see is my onboard motherboard audio, and a virtual cable. Absolutely no external DAC that I connect seems to ever be visible even if I install the manufacturer drivers.

Has anyone else come across this or knows how to fix it?
At the moment I'm having to use a quite frankly silly convoluted setup of APx ASIO output to VB-Hifi cable, Hifi cable into HQPlayer, and then HQPlayer with a bit-perfect config outputting to the device itself. This works, but isn't exactly simple or ideal.

Any help with getting ASIO4ALL to actually see devices would be greatly appreciated and I'm happy to offer a small reward if someone can provide a working solution

Try ASIO2WASPI too. For me, it seems to depend upon the computer. One computer likes ASIO2WASPI, the other works better with ASIO4ALL.

    Thank you very much!
This looks like it should do exactly what I need.

Currently battling/trying to fix a USB dropout issue on my NUC but will give it a go as soon as that's fixed.
