I would like to see the internals of this one.

Hopefully a frame of reference. I use this dac, it's a solid performer, no giant killer but preferable to Modi Multibit for me. Weakness is in imaging and detail, it's more centered maybe even closed in, but still it sounds great with hd800. Compared to a Gungnir Multibit, ass 2 is not as forward wrt finer detail and texture but still gets most everything right. Can't beat the small size and opamp rolling capability, I now run a quad of opa627 for iv and output buffer, stock otherwise. It is more or less the same as a Sonic Frontiers Transdac but the assemblage might be specced insignificantly better.

I know Bill-p years back sold his Neko d100 in favor of the transdac but in my findings I actually found the Neko the better of the two, neko was noticeably better with almost holographic imaging. You should be able to see some vague mention of the Transdac and Modi Multibit around here via search though.
