    The P7 on left has AT pads of a similar P7 size.
    The moded P5 have nice large ear pad and is significantly sleeker,
    and so are slimmer looking on your head..

    i didnt do your mod, but i think that sound will become hollow by your mod. as you removed all possible damping.

    i know bower and wilkins are overdamp(they believe in fundamental tone but then ruin driver performance)

    but i think removing any sort of damping completely will harm performance like the decay and reverb

    I forgot if I used any extra material inside.

    Regardless, the damping was only needed for stock, not this mod.

    This mod opens ports in front.
    That changes the exclosure to a ported chamber.

    If you ever opened any Ultrasone ED8 Headphones, you will see they use nothing at all inside.
    It has two large ports in front as well.

    So yeah I would have assumed similar, in an empty closed cup, which this unit is not (anymore).
