    It's a decent show. Watching only this and Flash with my kids on a regular basis. Katie Cassidy was much prettier at the beginning of the first season when she had some meat on her. She's way too skinny now. Caity Lotz is just hot. Just the way she carries herself with her athleticism; also the writers gave her a good character.

    Based on DC comics Green Arrow. The writers turned him into Batman for the first two seasons, but they appear to be lightening him up to be truer to the comics. He's supposed to be a happy-go-lucky ultra-liberal billionaire.

    It's about character development? ;) The writing has been spotty, but I enjoy this show because the formula is different from the typical TV studio shows like Friends or The Charlie Sheen Show. Also each new episode builds upon the old one. It's part super hero, part oriental mystical arts, and part soap-opera.

    Well people do die. Oliver Queen / Arrow has reformed since season one and stopped killing people. Necks do get snapped. People do get stabbed or shot. It's pretty intense sometimes. I'd say PG-10 if there were such a rating. My daughter is 10 and my son is 7. I'm probably a bad dad, but then again, I don't like to shield them from eventual reality. My mom was like WTF, why you are letting your kids watch this. My kids were like WTF is your problem grandma?

    Watched this show til some point in Season 3, when it just got too silly. ANY time there as a problem at all, not only would Oliver and his team show up, but everyone else would as well. It just went beyond my ability to suspend disbelief when 'heroes' from different factions show up for the same problem time after time like they were twitter besties or something. I didn't like Flash from the beginning, as it was an even more dumbed down Arrow, aimed for teens, I suppose.

    I think early exposure to the eventual reality portrayed in US TV shows are much better than... having to cope with the reality that every other non-human species living in Australia are designed to kill you outright or cripple you for life.

    What is not to like about Arrow yes at times it does feel like they have some filler episodes and it can get redundant but overall I think it's a great show which definitely tells the Oliver Queen story very well. The one thing they could have done is do a better job at developing other characters stories (past and whatnot instead of short blurbs). They took a lot of people from the Spartacus TV series (if you haven't watched it man it's amazing but definitely very graphic).

    They are doing that because they are spinning off another series with Black Canary 1, The Atom, etc. I actually can't wait because Team Arrow is way too big. I liked it better than they were a smaller team of three.
