I demoed these for a very short time and now that they have dropped to around $250 for the first gen and $300 for the second gen. I think I want these headphones now. However even with the short demo I had, I thought these were outrageous for $400. Please share any thoughts or impressions you might have on these. I'm quite curious as to what you guys might think about this.

I haven't heard any of their stuff at length, but whatever I did hear I was not impressed. Personally, I think you can do better, even at $300.

    Going from distant memories...

    Pros-
    Good clarity
    Good-ish extension on both ends
    Decent soundstage
    Fantastic design
Nice balance, no bass bleeding, no major treble spikes

    Cons:
    Kinda unatural timbre
Lean. Lacks note weight and thus, bass rambling and vocal fullness.

    Overall an OK portable can.

Out of Dacport - Bass distortion, warm, dull, not peaky, good comfort

Ok, so I've had the V2 for a few months now. The timbre is simply unforgivable IMHO. I think technicalities are decent enough, and they have very good clarity. But there's just something very unnatural sounding, like they have one of those Hi-Res Spatializer EQ built in but dialed up to 11.
