Big CA meet May/June?

Sorry for the late response. I've been calling around to nail down a place for this. Will let you guys know when a location is found.

But yeah, I think it'll be June 23rd.

Alternatively, if a small meet can be hosted by someone in the area around that time, I guess that will work, too, but ideally, I think we should do a big group meet if at all possible.

 

If it ended up being 6-8ish or whatever attendees, I'd offer to host. Or if 6 or 8 would want to put something together. I'm pretty well set up for it* and would plan to throw some stuff on the grill if Glendale (just off the 5/134 exchange) would work.

I can't make it on the 23rd anymore, I won't be in town. I'm surprised there's not more interest in another big meet.

 

I think most of the folks are just busy due to early-Summer duties.

Still on the phone with some conference/meeting/office room rental places. It's either been "oh, we don't have a room available around that date" or "oh, we do have one, how about $1500, sir?"

Trying to minimize damage for SBAF this time around. If the meet blows up in population like last time, I think we do want to get a pretty big space to make sure.

 

This would be awesome! I'm totally in for this. Just afraid we'll end up with like... 20 or so dudes at your place.

Alternatively, I guess I can coordinate for a place up here in SJ pretty easily, but then it'll be harder for SoCal crew. Plus I know most of the members up here are trying to move away from SJ, so it's not that easy for them either.

 

SJ works for me as well. And the shorter drive is a plus.
