I remember years ago there was a "fad" of putting disposable razors into a pyramid shaped "box" Supposed to keep the blades sharper much longer. I never tried that, but I swear my free razor tweak gives a bit of extra life to my razors. I run them backwards along the skin of my arm from wrist to elbow about 10 times. Kinda like stropping with a cow leather belt as in old timey barbershop days.

 

Seriously I thought society was done with the whole magic crystals, rocks, and ripoff energy alignment I smoke too much weed epoxy with stuff sprinkled inside pyramids.

At least he hears a difference. I've had one of these in my system for 25 years, because -- like the horseshoe that brings good luck even if you're not superstitious -- I suspect that it improves the sound even though nobody can tell.

 

I won't even go into all the "stuff" he and others swear by. Especially the $300 beeswax infused fuses.

Yes, it did sound "different". So can moving your chair an inch or slouching. I may even give up my fancy $100+ power cords some day. Last night I moved two absorber panels on the front wall by 4-5 inches. Made a bigger difference than any of this "stuff"

 

I gotta say tho, It kinda looks cool.

No no, the correct way to improve your experience is to move into an actual pyramid. Have you heard the acoustics in there?? Of course, traditionally the only way to live in a pyramid is to die outside of one, and have your brain removed through your nose, but I contend that no true audiophile should let something as subjective as their brain influence the sound they hear anyway!

 

That's what the guys at ASR did: they collectively removed their brains to achieve true objectivity! Clever.
