Closed: Soekris 2541

I have owned one of these before. I feel like it will be a better fit for my new chain ([DAC]->Jot 2->Focal Clear). I am running a BF2 right now but I don't think it's the right fit. The Yggdrasil LIM was perfect, but it had to go back to my home system.

Sorry mine is no longer for sale (It sold a couple days ago, I should have updated the listing). Best of luck finding one, I also find that it works much better than bf2 in some systems.

 

Thanks @dematted . Yes. I have loved the BF2 in another system with the little Harbeths and a Heed Obelisk Amp, but it is just not doing it for me with the Focals. It has the lovely Schiit sense of self consistency and flow, but I feel that it is a bit flat and stylizes things a bit too much for Focals where I appreciate their clarity above all. I think the 2541 will be better.

 

It turns out that Modhouse just got another shipment of these in, so I have ordered one from them. Mods, please close this thread.
