Trying musicbee out today, and I could see getting used to this over foobar.

I'm being lazy here, but...does musicbee allow dsp/vst plugins? And what's everyone using - Sonarworks, DMG, Ozone, etc? Thinking of picking one up.

    Daphile headless Linux (main source)

Jriver or HQPlayer (Windows machine, MAC laptop)

I occasionally use Foobar for frequency sweeps.

Thanks. I discovered that and should have come back to update my post...derp.

Using Nova67P right now. I'll probably trial some of the for-pay plugins soon. DMG, Sonarworks, Ozone, Pro-Q - missing any worth checking out?

I just had to reinstall my OS due to display driver issues.
Can anyone link me to a guide on setting up Foobar again? To work well with a Uberfrost?

Any other thoughts on Winyl that was mentioned on the last page? I like the clean look.

It's cute but fairly limited feature wise (visual arrangement and sound option-wise). I went back to MusicBee almost instantaneously.

Thanks. I'm a huge foobar fan, but am finding that a lot of the skins I like are broken on Windows 10 and most skins aren't supported anymore since they were created so long ago.

May give musicbee a try, but on first blush the screenshots look very busy. I like simplicity from a visual perspective.

Well, I gave it a shot and lasted about 30 minutes before running back to Foobar. I'm just comfortable there.

Found a new skin that I'm pretty happy with.

    Jam v1.3.1

It has a few things that bug me and I'm currently bouncing back and forth between that and DarkOne 4.0 to see which I prefer.

The creator started work on Jam v2 which I think showed some promise, but it doesn't looked like he has touched it since last year and it feels a bit incomplete.

I'm 30 and have been using Winamp since middle school. Simplistic, love it.

Just my 2 cents but for Mac users nothing beats the Audirvana Plus. I've tried Amarra, Pure Music and A+ but the latter (which also happens to be the least expensive) won me over the other two both in terms of sound quality and user-friendliness. I don't know why but I'm running into a lot of technical issues with Pure Music and while Amarra has decent SQ I have a hard time with its user interface.

For flac files with my MB Pro I use Decibel which I like a lot. For other file types I use Amarra.

I was so happy when I read the Audirvana 2.5 release notes. Finally I can stream from Tidal direct to my music player of choice.

    Nice one, Gruber. :)

Thankfully I can now put Amarra out to pasture. So poorly built, and unnecessarily slow. If you think the UI is bad, you should see the way it accesses the network.
