sorry for posting here, but I could not find a relevant thread. Getting ready to sell my vinyl collection. What is the best, not ocd way to ship vinyl?

I have seen the stuff on ebay where you take the disc out and tape it to the sleeve, blah , blah. I want to get it there in good shape, but these are well cared for pieces, not collectors stuff.

PM me if you have some ideas? thx.

And is it more cost effective to offer multiple LPs of an artist like Bowie or Beatles to keep shipping costs per unit down to the buyer, eg. Offering 3 Beatles albums in a lot.

Just out, had to grab it:

    IMG_2897.png
1991 live album headed by Donald Fagen featuring Phoebe Snow, Michael McDonald, Boz Scaggs, Charles Brown and others. Not available on vinyl (except for an obscure and now very expensive German pressing) until now. I just played it and at first I was WOW-f**k ME-WOW! But then I realized after a bit that this was the period where Fagen was mixing his albums lean and mean (Nightfly), seeming to drop down the midbass and ramping up the very highs for maximum POP. It gets old fast, feeling too manipulated and is hard on the ears. However, the music itself is timeless and performed with huge energy and skill. Highly recommended!

There was a DFW record show a couple weekends ago. I've been meaning to post some of the finds, but there was quite a bit. Here's a few:

There was one booth set up that had a huge selection where all the vinyl was pretty much near mint, and everything was $5. There was also another guy that had a varied selection and was selling 3 for $10; this was where I got the Strauss, Tchaikovsky, and the Beethoven. There's a bit more that I didn't photograph, but it was a good event. I definitely encountered plenty of WTF!?! pricing on a few records, but most people were relatively reasonable.

Hi all. I posted a video of my trip to the largest 1-day vinyl fair in the UK, along with my haul. Pretty successful day!

I had to pay for shipping from Germany, but got this still sealed. It sounded great.

One of my all-time favorites. Incidentally also the first vinyl record I ever bought. GB is one of the finest single-note soloists to ever pick up a guitar, in my opinion. And one hell of a singer on top of it! Amazing talent

GUP definitely benefits from the vinyl treatment. Afterimage rules! My 2112 is the best vinyl pressing I have overall; that dmm is damn quiet and sounds amazing.

Sad story. Some years ago I sold a few of my albums, thinking I would go full cd. GUP was one of them. This is a rebuy. I have a few Rush albums that I bought when they came out, but I'll be getting the others as we go along.

Of the more recent albums, Snakes & arrows benefits quite a bit from the new mastering
