So about the stuff inside the cups, reminds me of some room treatments I've seen; I assume the effect is intended to be the same here? Hope it's not made of hard plastic or anything.

If Google translate didn't fux things up you're asking about how people like the aesthetic, @nano? For me it looks like a weird mix of the NightHawk, Meze 99 Classics, and the Denon D7100 plus those (pretty cool) diffuser-looking things inside the cups. The yokes remind me of something else I can't put my finger on just yet. The view inside of the cups remind me of the AKG K812 with how room they are— that's a good thing. Props on the connectors, look like 2.5mm? Should be easy to swap cables if so.

I'm worried about the driver being exposed (incidentally, looks to be the same driver as posted by @Nanotech before, the Oppo PM-3 style one?), maybe put some acoustically transparent cloth over that just to protect it. I'm hoping for your sake that isn't veneered wood or liquid wood (Hi @Elnrik :p).

The grilles on the back of the cups look too abrupt against the wood. Add a metal surround using the same material as your yokes to balance the look of it out, maybe 1.5-2cm in thickness? May not work given the shape of your cups though, and I assume the non-standard look of the cups affect the sound. If changing the shape of the cups will be detrimental to sound then just make the grilles silver or something that isn't as abrupt.

On the whole, aesthetics get a 4/10 from me. Quite some room for improvement here. Please post measurements or subjective impressions of sound, what inspired you, what you're aiming for, what it sounds like in its current iteration. If you do post measurements, be sure to talk about your measurement rig and share measurements of well-known reference cans so people can have an idea of how to read the squiggles.

    Also, please post an introduction:

I sincerely do like what I see. I've paid attention to a bunch of details in construction that are very difficult to produce. Especially as this a true Do It Yourself (not a design it yourself and pay to others for actual manufacturing).
I like the idea of earpads with pyramid-shaped reflecting surfaces. Never saw such idea. Bravo! I'm sure that with some attention to details and shiny moldings here and there Aura A3 will look simply perfect.

p.s. The only thing that I'd prefer to see in this design is two degrees of freedom for earcups.

The case with Nanotech explain difficult. Nanotech, this is a friend of mine, it I would like to help to introduce you to my work, as was he has the opportunity translation English. To my sorry, Nanotech to large cases not discussed with me that he wrote here and actively affect, or to fix I could not. How were received my products, I agree with you only on the part, but in most cases your opinion was biased. I am a shame that some statements were strongly arrogant. Unfortunately, I am disappointed the way you perceive manual labor people, such as selectively you put their evaluation .. cups are made of Wood. Headband and Staples aluminum, the rest of leather, and interior decoration latex. I had hoped that the manual work abroad estimated by the dignity than in Ukraine. I fully disappointed your not adequate evaluation sorry for the translation Google, but some of you have offensive speech and technical ignorance (ability to measure the frequency response, not says about what you pro)

I will speak for myself, I applaud the effort of hand labor and original thinking, doesn't matter if it is from USA, China or Ukraine, that wasn't the problem, the problem was how the product was introduced (the best of the world, etc, better than Verum in the Verum thread, etc). Also, posting in russian comes across as lazy and unprofessional. Look, english isn't also my native language, yet I'm not posting in spanish and telling everyone to use google translator.

Since you will introduce a product (something of commercial interest), at least get someone to translate the posts and to lurk more to understand better how to behave here, it would definetely be a good investment in the long run.

Regarding the headphone, it looks good to me, I wish you the best luck with your project.

Just to be clear, the jibe about it being veneered wood or liquid wood was a joke, one that I forgot someone could easily miss if not particularly comfortable with the language. My bad!

Also, I hope you don't mind me being critical of their appearance. Aesthetics are subjective anyway— I like some weird-looking headphones while I'm indifferent to headphones others say look great. I don't think anyone was knocking on the handcrafted nature of your headphones, though. Artisanal work often gets more respect than mass-produced stuff, so probably something lost in Google Translate?

As for providing measurements, I only asked for that so people could have a general idea of what to expect from its sound. Subjective evaluations matter too, but we don't have that either. These are headphones so regardless of how they look (again, I'm only being very critical of their appearance because feedback was asked for) they should be held to some standard so people can learn what it's about. If you mean to say that I insinuated people who can't provide measurements can't make gear, you'd be mistaken. But I stand by saying that you may have difficulty making your headphones stand out if people have no idea of what to expect of its sound.

I just don't mind critics, but it should be sound, constructive and not be like abjection, on the similarity of how it happened with Nanotech.

Nice looking cans. But in same time I'm not sure about ergonomics. For example, looks like head band can be a hot spot with some head forms when just one of stripes is loaded due to elliptic form of caps and no rotation around vertical axis.

I think it's unfortunate that people conflated your project with Nanotech's merely on account of the similarities in username, among other things.

As for the criticism, sorry if you thought I was out of line but as I mentioned aesthetics are entirely a personal thing. For example, I think that this (https://www.nibs.com/sites/default/...rsal-fin-V1-ishime-heki-tamenuri-uncapped.jpg) looks very beautiful, but some friends of mine say it looks like mouldy shit. I can't disagree, haha. Go with what you want, but as your original post seemed to ask for input on how it looks (as per Google Translate), I didn't really hold back. Apologies, but my opinions on the design aside I do think leaving the driver exposed like that may prove problematic.

I'm still extremely curious how it sounds, but as of now I still can't even begin to guess how it'll perform as a headphone due to the lack of measurements and the lack of subjective impressions:

^I wouldn't have posted the above if there were any indications of what kind of sound to expect. I may not share others' opinions on how they look, but I am never not curious as to how a new headphone sounds. For what it's worth, best of luck with development!
