DNA Stellaris

Looks like Donald has posted a page for his statement amplifer, essentially a 'cost-is-no-object' evolution of the Stratus.

Seems like an interesting contender to the Studio, definitely in the same price bracket.

 

So the main bump in price is the new transformers & caps that cost alone more than the Stratus?

 

There are several parts upgrades and additions in Stellaris. As you noted the most costly are the Duelund CAST capacitors and custom Audio Note UK double-C cored output transformers, which are not inexpensive, mildly speaking. Have a look on their website sometime.
