eBay/third-party/Chinese replacement pads vs stock/OEM

    Time to replace some pads (all are currently stock OEM)...

    For my Grados, I did go el cheapo (eBay with Chinese source). I don't think there's much sonic difference, if any*. How about you folks?

    For my Sennheiser HD600s and HF650s, I'm gonna eBay these as well I think (the OEM prices are steep).
    Ditto for my AKG-701s.

    Unless I hear any real bad experiences from you good folks, I'm financing the PRC again ;)

    * After I got the eBay Grado pads, I finally got around to the pad/tape mod. And the improvement there was way beyond OEM or the eBay/Chinese pads. Bottom line: the third-party versions are very close to OEM!!
