Does anyone in the community know good software for schematics with vacuum tubes? I found TubeCad but I was wondering if there are other options that are free or open source.

Eagle can do this but I am not sure if you need the full version or if the freeware version allows you to create the macro.

I have the free version and it renders the macro without a problem.

    +1 vote for LTSpice.

It has the ergonomics/interface of a Unix terminal app (ok, not that bad :D). But it's powerful and there are a ton of component models out there.
