Emotiva Airmotiv

I just got some Airmotiv 4S speakers. Now I understand why @purrin doesn't even discuss soundstage with headphones anymore.

These things have better soundstage capability than any of my favorite headphones and they're relatively small.

Crap on my friggin' wallet.

I'm already glancing up at the Airmotiv 6S.

I guess this is what happens after you've found your favorite headphones?

 

I use a pair of 4's (like the 4S, but with a small aesthetic cabinet difference) as my desk monitors with the Valhalla 2. Damn nice for the price.

 

I have the 5S that are being fed from Gungnir Multibit's SE outputs. These nearfields give me more musical enjoyment than my balanced Gungnir Multibit+BHA1+HD800S rig. I would probably upgrade to Focal Solo nearfields before replacing HD800S with another kilobuck headphone.

 

I still spend most of my listening time on the LSR305s and not the HD800S.

 

Joining the speaker world soon. RIP wallet. Just when I thought I was finished.

 

My minion card got revoked since I'm not a fan of tubes/vinyl. Gimme that solid state digital sweetness.

 

You can still be a minion, just a different faction. I'm part of the Basshead Supremacy. I don't like most Schiit, can't handle treble, and love me some bass.
