    Hi All,

Recently got the K10s. Using them with a custom OCC copper cable, which I'll replace with an SPC Litz cable soon.

I love the great level of detail, clarity and seperation in the sound. I wish to add a little bit of warmth, not too much, just enough to make it smoother and warmer without losing details.

I don't have enough experience with EQing. Wondering if I can get some help. I mainly use the following players:
    1. JRiver media on PC (Windows) with a vaiety of amps/DACs
    A. Chord Mojo + Cavalli Liquid Carbon
    B. iFi micro iDSD Black Label
    C. Questyle cma600i
    D. CEntrance HiFi-M8
    2. Pioneer xdp100r
    3. Fiio X5 paired with Chord Mojo

If EQing the Noble K10 is successful I'd do the same with the HD 800s.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Cheers

JRMC's EQ Bands are different from the EQ Bands on DAPs. Btw, what I found in my experience with Fiio DAPs is, their EQ is not effective enough. I am not sure how the EQ on the Pioneer DAP is. Anyways here are the settings you could try to add warmth:

    JRMC:
    170Hz: +1dB
    310Hz: +3dB
    600Hz: +2dB
    1kHZ: +1dB

    DAP:
    250Hz: +3dB
    500Hz: +2dB
    1kHz:: +1dB

Many thanks for the suggestion. I applied the DAP changes on the Ibasso dx150 and it has made a good difference by giving more body and smoothness to the sound.

    Cheers
