    Hifimans or sale

    HE6

I am ready to pass this acclaimed headphone on to the next person after finding better system synergy with my Code LEX.

The sale comes with the Headphones, original box, pads, damping, grills etc (if I took it off the headphone, it will come with it).

    Also included:
4-foot Norne (from when he was Norse) Audio cable; not sure the type, but probably an early Draug.
Brand new DCA angled ether pads
    Black Hifiman storage/travel case

If desired, I have a homemade speaker taps to XLR adapter that I have been using with the headphones that I can throw in. Its about 6 feet long and made from this cable. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088STZY68/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The headphones are in great shape for their age. The only non-original part is the mounting ring where you would normally identify this as 4 screw. The original rings cracked and I replaced them with new style aluminum rings. They work just as well if not better but have 6 screw holes instead of 4.

    Modding I have done.

Remove rear screens and added fabric to protect drivers. These are glued on, but can come off with some careful pealing
    Blutak mod
Front of driver damping with multiple layers of material including rug liner, tuning pads and felt

These mods are easily reversible, and I can do so for the buyer if they wish, or they can try them out first.

Price is $1000, or $900 for Friends and Contributors --- SOLD to @elwappo99 for 800 minus the Norne Cable

    HE560 - Sold
This is the original HE560 that came with the full wood rings. One ring is cracked, but otherwise they are in perfect shape. The crack was repaired with wood filler, and although not a perfect color match, it looks pretty good. I purchased these with the intent of swapping the HE6 drivers in, but I changed my mind and am going a different direction with future headphones.

This sale comes with the original hardwood box, and all original accessories. I only have owned these a few weeks and have not put much listening time into them, but overall they have a very similar tonality to my HE6, just missing out on the extension and crazy dynamics. On low power amps, the HE560 is a better overall listen.

Price is $250, or $215 for Friends and Contributors --- Sold to @Cryptowolf for asking price

Ill cover shipping and paypal fees. Shipping via UPS is preferred, but I am not totally rigid on that.

Do you happen to know what pads you have there on the 560s? Or where the balanced cable came from?

It is my understanding that the cable was converted by the previous owner to XLR from the stock cable.

I think the earpads are just standard velour.
