    hello,
(if this is not the right place please move my ramblings.)
ridiculously short stock cable. excellent isolation both in and out. (could listen with MrsForBin at work in the same room.)
sound yummy, especially for (nearly affordable {at the recently revealed sale price}) closed backs.
found myself avoiding electric music, somewhat uncomfortable back pressure (?) when loud enough. lower volume was better, less amplified music was also better.
could definitely hear the sounds of a throat making music with Diana Krall.
recommended for audition if you have the right use case: non-portable (cost too much), isolation acceptable (no one talks to you), isolation desired (listening in a space with other folk you cannot disturb.)
    cheers!

    hello,
it may just be me, closed back headphones seem to send their output into your head. enclosed is how i feel it. echos are contained, artificially deep, yet, open in reverb.

I have been watching prices on the new/used market.

Adorama recently had the coupon for $500 new, I assume this price will pop up again around black friday/x mas through multiple vendors.

The prices for used on eBay Elegia are getting juicy, they are right around $500-550 at the moment but sitting with a buy it now. So hopefully the used market price will push down closer to $400 which I think will a solid value!

    Looking forward to the loaner!

Thanks for your impressions @Dr.ForBin, have you had any of the other focal headphones to compare to before this?
