    You guys all need to speak up. Somebody could have told me the stock Mutec 3+ USB with the 1.10 firmware was all warm and bloomy way ahead of time. :)

    Not at all! There's a common belief that making things sound warm and bloomy increases the Gaurav factor, but this is not always the case. Many Chi-Fi tube amps take this warm and bloomy approach only to fail miserably and result in lower concentrations of measured Gauravidians.

    Alright, the Neutrik 4-pin XLR connectors are waiting for me in the mailbox.

    those are the models I got:
    - Neutrik NC4MX-B.
    - Neutrik NC4FXX-B

    If I don't hear any complaint about the quality / color / smell of these plugs, they will be installed on the loaner's cable.
