Putting my HE6se up for sale. They are 3 weeks old. In mint condition. I am selling because I have decided to upgrade. They are fantastic headphones, just be sure to feed them some good power

Upgrade? Before trying various mods? You're missing out, the 6 is one of the all-time greats in my book.

I was always planning on selling them, its just happened quite a bit quicker than I expected. I was never planning on modding them, due to the fact I wanted to sell them eventually. I'm still really glad to have given them a try. Going back to the Susvara and eventually the AB-1266, or Diana Phi. Not really sure yet

 

Geez, selling this & the Dave after having them for such a short time. You just can't stay committed can you.

 

Yes and no.

The HE6se was always going to be a stop gap, selling just happened way quicker than I expected. The DAVE, yeah, I never thought I would sell it. Had an honest conversation with myself that I wouldn't be able to afford my favourite headphones again (Susvara, AB-1266 Phi) any time soon if I kept the dave, as well as buying a good amp to go with the DAVE to drive said headphones. I've purchased a Hugo TT2 so I'm moving to a less expensive DAC/Amp combo, but it will be able to drive my headphones, and I hope it will sound good The Hugo TT2 meant I had enough free'd up funds to buy the Susvara again, and I'll wait for impressions on the Diana Phi and make a decision about that later.

I had always planned on going back to the Susvara and Abyss after having to sell all my gear, its just happened a bit sooner than expected
