FS: Auralic Aries Mini

SOLD to Cornell77. I have ended up with an extra Auralic Aries Mini. I have both a black and a white one, and since I am color agnostic either one (but not both) is available for sale. Price is $200 shipped US lower 48. Please no PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, BitCoin, or whatever else. I'd need a personal check or USPS money order via snail mail. No bank or commercial money orders either. I'd rather have an IOU written on a bar napkin. On the last item I sold here I had a Contributor (paid-up Rando) explain to me that sending a check by mail was a whole lot of trouble. I said "so is humping this #$@%^#$ box to UPS in the neighboring town". P.S., if this was you or if you agree with him, then the item is unavailable.

Also included is the factory propaganda, the supplied POS SMPS, the included set of POS RCA cables, and some small screws and a Torx wrench for installing an internal drive.



If you are not enamored with POS SMPS's, I offer two upgrade paths. The first is a generic ChiFi linear power supply for an additional $100. Actually it works quite well, and is a handsome unit if you are one who likes gear to present well.

If you are looking for something "better", I offer an official Auralic brand LPS for an additional $200 shipped...







Frankly, I can't tell any difference in SQ between them and the no-name one is cheaper and prettier. Also, at the most basic level, Auralic is ChiFi as well - just respectable ChiFi. But still your choice. I will run the remaining Mini with the remaining power supply. Either comes with the AC cord and low voltage cable.

 

I would like to buy the black version with ChiFi power supply. I started a separate conversation that includes my phone number.
