Anyone on SBAF interested in a Blum Orca loaner? If so, we should grab it for the loaner program.

@Marvey Depending on shipping cost that would be cool.

@Marvey I have some old AV123 bookshelf speaker double-boxes that would definitely survive a tour and would fit.

    AV123: 6.12ā€ x 11.25ā€ x 9.81"
    Orca: 6.00" x 11.25" x 8.50"

If @thegunner100 has the ability to pick them up, I can swing by and grab them sometime in late January and start the tour.

@Hooncake: SBAF will take them - provided above will work. Shipping box doesn't seem big. Probably lighter than a power amp.

kewl, they are light, small. I don't have the original boxes cause the way Blum shipped was really crappy. I will try to supply a box with some packing materials..or UPS? anyhow will work it out.

Don't worry about a box. I have one that will work well.

For the rest of you guys, I'll be grabbing this in person later this month.

@Vansen - I'm sure you are all over the shipping, but FWIW Clark recommends cutting a piece of cardboard the size of the front face, given the paper drivers. I've seen them wrinkle pretty easily.

Glad these are going on tour. I like them, despite the noted weaknesses.
