Sold: ECP Walnut X.3 DAC

As much as this is a perfect aesthetic fit for my chain, as the spalted maple adds such the right touch… My near and future plans / chains / headphones are most likely not the best match for this one.

Bought not too long ago from @Ksorota , this is an amorphous core unit. Very musical and agile. Also comes in its own hardshell/pelican style case.

I would like to keep this one in the correct communities since it is a rarer piece, and this is the ECP home grounds.

Asking: $825 + shipping to the US.
Willing to ship further but that would need to be worked out with the buyer.

To show off some quick pictures of the spalt:


There is some figuring you will see in the maple too, it glows underneath the ink like black lines in the wood sides.

The black, gold, and tan fits the BHC near perfect. The BHC has a scraped top edge to let the wood show. Its a technique used on high end guitars to create a natural binding.

 

Going to give this a one week bump. Anything ECP not selling immediately here is a bit of a shock.

 

This one was about $1400 brand new, which was about 1 year ago. I replaced this with a Holo May but liked this Walnut better than many DACs I tried.

 

Bumping again with a small price cut.

I have a buddy in some medical emergency. I would like to get this gone to help him out a little.

That spalted maple is hawt.

 

I'd be all over this if I didn't already have one...

lol... no. Mine is heavily figured walnut - and fits in perfectly with my Mogwai's walnut base.
