    SOLD O.G. GumbFreya set for sale. $750 (PayPal fees and lower 48 US ground shipped including). Probably not state-of-the-art any more, but it still sounds good. It got pushed out of service by a Sonnet Morpheus recently. The Gungnir MB is Analog 1, but recall that in the GumbFreya configuration that the analog section of the Gungnir is bypassed and the signal is taken straight off of the DA chips to use the analog circuits in the Freya. This was the solution to Analog 1 before Schiit got their Schiit together with Analog 2. The USB has not been ungraded because I freaking hate USB. I used it with SPIDIF and recommend likewise. Power cords and cheap plastic (but working) remote included.

    It is running a quartet of 6SN7GTB JAPAN tubes in good condition. It will ship with two spare matched Reference Grade NOS pairs of 1959 Baldwin branded Raytheon 6SN7GTB tubes tested and matched by my favorite eBay source (brhines2012 @ Reference Audio.)

    I've wanted to hear one of these since they were first built and talked about on SBAF. I assume you could also run the modded Gungnir Multibit into a Freya+, and with how much better the Freya+ is compared to the OG Freya, one would think that could take it even further into awesome land!

    I didn't build this. I bought it from @fierce_freak. I don't know if the RCA outs (or even the original XLR outs) are still active. I have only used it directly into the Freya. Given that the Freya has RCA outs also, I guess I don't really see the reason for the exercise. I used them as a bonded unit - Inputs to the Gungnir and outputs from the Freya. Done thusly, everything works.
