FS - Schiit Yiggy LIM (Black w/ unison)

Stumbled upon a stellar (old dac) and want to keep this excellent condition Yiggy in the SBAF family. (This is only listed here).

It's black, has Unison, and is of the Less Is More variety. Includes manual and power cable. Light dims are installed for your viewing pleasure. I do not have the original box, but will buy a very sturdy new one to ship securely.

Asking for $1,800 plus shipping (want to stay within the US). I will cover PayPal fees and insurance on shipping.

Wait, the SFD-1 mkII is that good, that you're selling your LiM?! You do have a SFD-1, correct, not a SFD-2? Just trying to wrap my brain around this.

 

Yeah. It's a SFD-1 MKII. I was expecting to have to take some time to decide, but I was pretty much set after an hour or so. If anything I was expecting to be dissappointed compared to Yiggy. Color me shocked.

My main concern was a lack of resolution, which I've heard from others but if anything I'm hearing more details.

Don't get me wrong, Yiggy LIM is still exceptional and I love it. This dac just synergizes really well with my setup. Awesome, spacious, bombastic, analog (no digititus) sound. Looking forward to mods and playing around with tubes. I'm a DIYer at heart so this dac scratches my itch to tinker as well.

 

Ok...I'm going to not let new toy syndrome get to me and give this comparison a few more days before deciding to sell. I'll leave this ad up but may pull it down or adjust depending on how things go.

 

if you like the Sonic Frontiers sound, you should do the SE upgrade

 

Need to slow my role and do more comparisons, tube swapping modding etc. Before making a decision. Apologies for the needless thread.
