Full Range (ish) Sealed Boxes under $5K

Looking at ATC SCM 11, possibly proac. Any other suggestions?

If you have a chance (and I don't know if they are in the same range) listen to the DeVore Oranguatans. I liked their sound better than the the KEF References when I auditioned them.

 

ATC SCM 11 won't be fullrange. It's a very good medium sized near field with too little driver real estate to do real bass.

For 5k I'd look at the ATC 19-2. They go pretty deep and with decent slam too. The new PMC twenty5 range (standpoints) aren't sealed-box but their ATL format makes for very clean bass and near-wall placement.

 

add a sealed sub to the atc

however, Im very impressed with atc scm7 v3 bass. they measure in room flat down to 50hz!!!!! and -10db at 40hz.
