    actually if possible i'll like both so i can compare which one i like because recently i've really gotten into musicality rather than resolution so would like to see which one takes the cake

    In a much earlier post I specified I would include the stock 1/4" to 1/8" adapter with the stock HD650's (along with the stock able and two DIY cables).

    I just realized that adapter is still with me, looks like it didn't make it into the box. Please do not worry that it is not in the box, I hope you were not banking on it being in there. One of the DIY cables terminates in 1/8" so hopefully not an issue

    again, i would like to thank @PoochZag and @sphinxvc for loaning these out.

    both are amazing headphones (although the modded pair is slightly [actually much more than slightly] more amazing, to my ears at least.)

    there will never be meet conditions or retailer's conditions that allow one to really audition headphones properly.

    the generosity and trust of this community is wonderful.

    (MrsForBin liked the modded pair too!) ;)
