How not to behave ... A PM story

It's just the basic animal instinct of attacking when you feel cornered while being isolated behind the monitor coupled with an irrational desire for his perceived justice. It's the way most unintelligent people act as in not questioning the first impulse your brain is sending to your consciousness.

 

Just looked through HF and most of his posts are of buying and selling gear. He does have 77 post for seller history and 97 for buyer history. Pretty impressive for someone who has only been a member of HF for 3 years.

So posting about his buyer reputation is likely very damaging in his eyes. He probably also thinks I got him banned, but he did that himself. I don't have the power to ban, lol, as I have been temporarily banned myself once. (well, twice if you count that one day for playing games with JK47, but I was just having a bit of fun).

I'll keep you guys posted.

 

Send them both to my court. The honorable JK47 of SBAF will settle this dispute once and for all.

Anyway, I know it's not all that much of a help probably, and we do have a thread for it, but just in case, David and myself are doctors so if you want a benevolent free third / fourth opinion / clarification about anything keep that in mind. (If I don't know, pulmonology is a floor underneath me, and one of the top pulmonologists in my country is a family friend, and one of my closest friends is an infectious diseases resident, last year.)


Also, this is my first post in this section since that time I stirred the shitpot myself around a year ago .. I think.

 

This is an insult to all of us who have mental health issues and need professional help.

 

Buying equipment is probably more important than listening to this guy. Obsessive vibe to the whole thing.

 

Yeah, you never know how people are going to react in some situations, and better safe than sorry.

Was once on a 12 hour flight and the guy behind me was being a total d-bag. He kept tapping the back of my seat with his foot, not kicking, but enough to be annoying. He was laughing about it to his girlfriend. A few annoyed glaces behind me didn't work and I was about to ring the flight attendant and complain but then I heard him say to his girlfriend something about having already taken four Valiums...

...and I quickly decided to let it go. Pushing back on a jerk is one thing, arguing with someone who might have issues and is already hyper-medicated is another, and then doing it in the confined space of a plane over the Atlantic, well that was just a risk I didn't want to take for myself, the other passengers and my whole family who were sitting near me.

 

Especially when he was likely to be unconscious shortly anyway.

good decision not to poke. have been there several times due my work. Got beaten several times. You just can not win when the guy its on MEDS!

 

@rtaylor76 I think you handled yourself exceptionally well with this guy, and probably far better than I would have. Good to just let this guy go off and rant in his corner of the interweb, forget about him, and get back to the music!

 

When I see bullshit like this it reinforces why over the last few years I post less and less on social media/forums and many of my friends are doing the same. The few communities that I do choose to participate in like this one tend to have a higher expectation of its members. Cheers to you mods that have to clean house.
