    There popped up one for sale locally. Would this have enough balls to drive the HD650 well @purr1n? Desktop space and small size factor is great. Do not want use anything with a battery. Currently using the Zen Dac, but if this Gold bar is as good or better, than might get that instead.

    Yes, works great with the HD6xx headphones. Not quite as good as iFi Gryphon or that Satanic Red Brick thing, but close enough because of its light weight and super portability. Downside is that it drains phone battery like crazy so better used with laptop. I carry this around for travel (with the Sennheisers), working while sitting at Starbucks, etc. I didn't care for the Zen DAC HP's output.
