No, look, Nwavguy disappeared...why? Maybe he listened to the ODAC? And accidentally listened to vinyl in Christmas, kinda like that end of the year cigar that screws your 2 months of non smoking?
Then, the same month, out of the blue, much more politically correct, but with a very similar blog, this guy Archimago appears. IMO, it's Nwavguy. Note that both mantain their real identities in secret (nothing wrong with that, just a data point).

Amir can't be Nwavguy because his posts date way back before Nwavguy, and he posted with his real identity since then, if he didn't occult his identity posting such an amount of unhealthy BS (while working as Microsoft's Corporate Vice President), he doesn't have any real reasons to be Nwavguy now that he's retired (ie: no job to lose for being a jackass). Let me repeat, Amir is Amir, the lowest audiophool sub-human form possible, not Nwavguy, it just doesn't make sense.

Or maybe Archimago is Archimago, Nwavguy is Nwavguy and Amir is also Amir again, there're 7 billion people on earth, too many of them with too much free time and some of them full of shit.

Okay, I'm going to pull a potential dick-move here. Calling @Tyll Hertsens. I understand you have talked to Nwavguy on the phone. I know that you will of course respect the man's privacy, and I wouldn't ask you to share any details of his identity. But would you feel comfortable confirming that the guy in the below video is not Nwavguy? Of course it was a long time ago, but this guy's manner and accent are fairly distinctive. Completely respect and appreciate that this will, and quite likely should, get zero response.

(Isn't there one of these sessions where he is the main speaker? Maybe I just imagined that in a nightmare. Where he goes on about how some high end audio tester should have "Looks like you are trying to write a letter, would you like some help?" paper-clip prompts).

I don't think that is a fair question to Tyll. When something is really confidential, I'd avoid denials as well as the forbidden confirmation. Just my thought. Up to him.
