    Quick impressions.

Better late than never. @Taverius offered generously to loan me his baby maybe a few month ago (during last July) in order i can measure it and give it a listen. I had a busy end of summer so I'm a bit (very...) late with those measurements.

By the way, It's the third Kennerton I have at home after Odin and Vali and in my humble opinion it's by far the best of the bunch. First of all, it's much lighter than the old Odin and much more comfy.

Sonically speaking: Overall balance is pretty good .... once the 9khz peak is fixed by EQ. in Stock form, this peak is obvious to my ears and to my mic and quite bothersome in my opinion. Once fixed, it's much easier to enjoy what this headphone is capable of. The overall presentation is lively, precise with very good balance (maybe still on the bright side even without the 9khz peak) . Bass extension is faultless and the low register is clean fast... agile I'd say. Mids are pretty forward as usual with Kennerton headphones and it's well done here. Staging and Imaging are pretty decent. Not up to what I'm used to but still very decent overall . I'd say similar to HE-6 which is the best planar I heard in term of headstage . Surprisingly, I wasn't bothered by the emphasis I measured around 3khz whereas it's something i can't stomach usually for example with any HD600 i heard.

I don't have any experience with 3K (or more) planars so I don't know if the value is OK for this one. But surely it's a good sounding heapdhone once the 9khz is fixed. Looks like it's quite easy to drive. I used my RME ADI-2 pro the whole time I used it.

    That's it, folks.

Kinda requires careful amp matching, although in its wild untamed state its not nearly as bothersome as an un-sorrodje'd hd800.

Still, feed it a little tube warmpoo and it's quickly tamed, though I never find it to be kind to bad recordings.
:p You managed to take even longer than it took me to ship them to you :D
