I would love to find someone in my area who would make simple audio devices for me like switchers or modify or fix amplifiers or do things like switch out the Yggdrasil boards, but I don't know anyone around here who does work like that. I thought it would be useful to start a thread with a list of people who do, and where they're located.

So post if you know of a skilled someone or a good shop, and where and I'll try to keep this first post organized with a list with locations.

    :)

    Nobody taking the bait? ;)

In absence of any shops around here, I'm happy to help out. I'm located in Montreal, Canada.

I’ve done some work but I don’t want to advertise myself quite yet until I build up my portfolio and reputation a bit more

I second this. I used him Blackie a few times, with excellent results. Also a super down to earth/good guy.

In Chennai, India, @Koth Ganesh and I would recommend Mr Sayeed. But he has retired from his job behind the Philips shop. Takes some work on a private basis.

In (near*) London, UK, There is a guy with a shop called London Sound. I never went there, but only because I didn't know about it before moving out. There's useful information on his website, never mind that the design is Palaeolithic.

    *Rayner's Lane Harrow, actually.

IDK about anyone else, but I'm getting a "403 FORBIDDEN" from that link.

    Google brought e here: https://www.blackiepagano.com/
Maybe missing the "S" in the https?

Anyone know someone in the Bay Area that can do some work?

Someone I know needs microsoldering done on a motherboard and is having a difficult time finding someone able to do it
