    • This is a 230V unit. A 115 to 230V transformer will be sent along with the DAC.
    • The headphone outputs are actually pretty good and pair well with the sound to the DAC.
    • Insure box containing DAC only to $1000. Item will be shipped in two boxes. NO USPS. Only UPS or FedEx with SIGN RELEASE.
    • Be sure to press the un-mute button. The DAC automatically mutes upon turn on.

    I've been curious about these "pro" DACs for some time, but if there are only limited spots on this tour I'm happy just to hear it at someone else's place in SoCal while they have it. Can compare to any other DAC we stock at work.

    After I finish with measurements on the Convert2 and send it on its way I'd like to follow up with Solaris measurements where ever it fits into the loaner schedule.

    Not sure whether the loaner application is still open.

    When this was first posted, I thought myself not qualified as "urgent potential pro-dac buyer". Thus, I refrained from applying.
    But it seems that the loaner received little interest.. now I would like to ask to participate this loaner if still available.

    I'd like to test this dac for the following reasons:
    1. As a headphone listener, I want to know what Solaris dac can bring to the table over RME dac and og schiits.
    2. My go-to headphone ether 2 has a little dark top end. So, a certain synergy with solaris dac may be expected.
    3. Want to hear any (DS) competitors against Yggdrasil A2 (my next dac upgrade candidate; not any time soon though).
    In addition, I think I am a diligent poster regarding loaner impressions!
