    I just shipped to @Northwest via FedEx today. I'll send the tracking number via PM to him.

    One note: Over the course of my week with it, I noticed minor static in the right channel 3-4 times while listening with the balanced cable. I couldn't replicate it, though, and when I switched to the SE cable or my own cable, I never heard it. So if you do hear it, try swapping cables.

    No problem! It looks like PTS was in West Coast, but now it's in Washington with Northwest, so... I guess it makes geographical sense to go back to you at the tail end. Sorry about that! Hope this works, though.

    I unpacked the box, but I noticed something really odd with the 650B. @ext1 What should I do in this situation?


    Edit: I'm going to refrain from using either headphone until I get a go ahead.

    Looks like someone put their finger in it! ;) (Probably, it happened during transit)
    Blow a quick burst of air to the other side of the driver and it will pop back up. However don't do it too hard. Just enough to pop it back up. Do it too hard and you can misalign the diaphragm from the voice coil.

    Don't worry xD it was just my bad attempt at humor. I've also had some friends ship stuff around very securely and have that happen somehow, I feel like it almost has nothing to do with how secure we ship it. I trust you did an awesome job :) not your fault at all.

    It's not a big problem anyway! Just a quick burst of air and it will be all good. Thanks for raising the issue- it prompted me to write about this issue on my website.

    Both head phones were packaged really well. A little air seemed to have fixed it. Now off to listen.

    Shipped both of the JAR 650's to @DrForBin

    A note. I also heard static that bigjako mentioned with the loaner balanced cable in the right channel of the 650B. I used the stock 650 cable for the rest of the loaner with both headphones and had no issue.

    I'm next in line for this loaner, but we can skip me so others get a chance sooner. I currently own a JAR and have spent an extended amount of time with other members' JARs recently. I know what version I want to buy as a companion to my JAR600v1 and will share notes once the JAR600B loaner comes my way.
