Loaner: Jupiter Audio Research JAR 650

I'm not sure if I should post it in this forum, as it's not one of our typical loaner programs crowdfunded by our members and organized by @Vansen. Jong-hyeon of Jupiter Audio Research (ext1 at Head-Fi , you can PM him directly for questions: https://www.head-fi.org/members/ext1.460358/) has generously offered the latest revision of his modded HD 650, known as JAR 650, for a loaner tour to SBAF. He has asked me to post it here on his behalf as he is not a member here and new registrations are closed for the time being.

It should be noted that @Hands and I reviewed different samples. @Hands received the pre-revision unit without oval foam, and I got to compare both pre- and post-revision unit with and without oval foam, and coin-modded foam. I felt the post-revision unit with coin-modded foam was the best sounding combination, which is the unit that will be donated to this loaner tour.

Hello SBAF,

I recently decided to offer up the pair reviewed by @songmic to the SBAF community for a loaner tour. My hope is that many of our members will get to hear it and enjoy it, and be able to join in the discussion about these cans.

I want the pair to remain in CONUS + Canada region for now. I might offer one up to the worldwide community later too.

I'll ship this to Tyler (@Hands) first for him to check out this new version/
I'll ship for free to the first person to receive it.

After that, shipping fees can paid by the next person that wants to hear it.

This is gonna go from person to person a lot, so please take care of the cans. Please try to keep these in a dust-free environment. The pads will really take a beating so I recommend anyone wanting to hear it do so with fresh pads, as per @Hands's findings. If there are any damage issues, let me know. If it gets lost, then it's the sender's responsibility to replace it, unless the recipient somehow influenced it.
