Loaner: Leptoni DT-Alpha

I’m interested. See my impressions on Sundara, LCD2C, HEK, and tube rolling ZDS as a resume. I don’t, however, have a lot of head amp experience: only IHA1, ZDS, WA3, and DAC3, Soekris hybrids. I’ll leave it to your discretion and won’t feel bad either way.

I am also interested with and eager to hear this amp.

Generally like to share the impressions about what I auditioned and/or what I enjoyed. Also posted an impression on cascade loaner (the only loaner program experience to date). Obviously I like to muse this kind of things.

I've heard a lot of great value amps in mid-fi and mid-hi-fi.. now want to stretch my experience to great sounding amps above 3k (potentially my next amp upgrade targets).

@Vansen, do you think this will still happen or is it off given the lack of interest? I was eager to hear it.

Received from @E_Schaaf. For the record there’s a crack along the grain of the wood case originating at the faceplate and terminating at one of the finger joints on the right and also a similar one on the left. Pretty sure this is just unfortunate wood shrinkage from humidity changes against the intransigent metal faceplate. To be expected of amp is assembled in a more humid environment.

Will test this weekend and next week.

@skem any update on where the DT Alpha currently is? And I'd love to hear your thoughts about its sound signature too
