Loaner: Soekris dac1421

Is there a possibility to have a Loaner Program in Europe ?
Its strange being an European DAC,and I'm sure alot of EU folks would like to have a listen.

 

If it can be organized then the current dac1421 loaner can continue in Europe.... I like the way it works here where there is a good chance it will do the tour and actually get returned....

There are crappy people out there, I'm currently trying to get a reviewer dac1541 back from England, but the person that loaned it are not responding to my emails....

Just took delivery from @Syzygy. Holidays and stuff may make me take a bit longer than specified unfortunately...

 

Sorry to hold it up, but I've asked @sheldaze if it's OK to hold on until Monday to ship, as we have a couple locals doing a mini-meet and I'd like to bring it to get more impressions. Any objections from the powers that be?

My impressions are coming, hopefully later this week in the main thread.

I added some light packing foam inside the box. I assume it originally shipped with a custom foam cut-out.

 

wow,the soekris has made it through lots of hands yet not a single sentence about how it sounds. C'mon!

it really only takes 5 friggin minutes to type up some thoughts, doesn't have to be deep.

I guess I thought impression posts were to be made here by folks taking advantage of the tour, but hey that thread is a good start.

 

I have the DAC and its warming up after its very cold journey...

FYI there's a FedEx problem being addressed...not lost, but it's coming back to me & will be reshipped.

 

FedEx is usually my favorite courier. It's unusual for them to have issues like this, but I suppose it happens. No worries here, it arrives when it arrives, being near the bottom of the list I had no real expectation of when I would get it anyway. Hopefully the delay won't be an issue for @msommers or @purr1n. If it is I can shorten my time with it and send it off sooner - being retired I can cram a lot of listening into a short time LOL.

Anyway, I'm sad to see this is causing extra aggravation for @Jinxy245. Your time and effort is very much appreciated.

 

@Kernel Kurtz No rush on my end at all. @Biodegraded also lives in Calgary and may want a few days with it, if permitted. Ultimately up to @purr1n how quickly he wants it when my allocated days expire.
