Head-Fi thread about HE6se was mainly about getting mad at Hifiman because of the pricing and not much speculation about the HE6se itself. Some posts (including a couple of mine) described in little detail about some Fang drama stories and got deleted (o course) with no explanation (o course). Anyways, surprisingly got a message from Jude himself! BTW I've had posts deleted before and it was always regarding speaking of something that was not to be spoke, ie. SBAF. Anyways, my PM is a group affair so I thought I'd share probably my last time on Head-Fi because I feel the presence of the ban hammer.

From personal experience, I can say it is worthless arguing with Jude or the mods there. They are going to do whatever they want to, and you really have no influence on it. That includes their censorship.

I had a bunch of critical posts about HFM deleted way back when, and I too tried having an adult conversation with Jude and the mods. I came away convinced that you should never argue with idiots - they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. I hope you understand even if you disagree.

 

I see a lot of criticism of SBAF in other corners of the web, some of which I think is well-deserved, but it's overall the lesser of many evils. Plus the people are cool and more open to discuss their inevitable inherent biases than others, which counts for something.

(this post was originally much, much longer, but I tried making good on my sig for a change because this really doesn't bear talking about much— do we really need more HF or HFM drama? I am sorry you had to go through that crap, though.)

After reading everything, my response is this: Really?

 

It's great that HFM is bringing back the HE6 but I think people will be voting with their wallets on this one so we'll see if they end up getting the adorama super sale treatment.

Nothing new is going on WRT the Jude thread modding compared to reports in the past so who gives a shit?

 

I went to HF for the first time in a while the other day to try to catch up on the schiit happened thread. What the f**k is that? It feels like you have been mistakenly locked in a dementia ward or something.

My cat had surgery.

I like tomato’s.

It’s the most interesting thread on HF and there’s seemingly no moderation.

 

If you ignore 5 or 6 noise makers in that thread, most pages will only have one or two posts.

 

I think gay people don’t deserve that lol
