    i dont defend anything .... i am not an expert in headphone, simply i like the he 400 in my gear chain system... the sound is more 3 d the instrumental timbre is more accurate to my ears than the other element i already have...by the way i dont have made statement only appeal to some opinions about some product...

    I guess you didn't get the memo; but we are currently in dick mode to increase the signal to noise ratio. I figure this might last a few weeks. Ravi was horrified when he came back after his prolonged illness at the high noise levels and stale air. Also, a few established members have stated to me that this place feels too placid.

    What about intelligent dickish people who are part of club? :D

    The door is always open to new members who are true seekers. We aren't nearly as exclusive as people make us out to be. And we think schlong awards are funny. Many of us like Star Trek. But I like Babylon 5 more. And we really don't take ourselves seriously. And most of us are giggling uncontrollably right now. This is what you get on a forum with people who are willing to put hot sauce inside an HD800 to make it sound better.

    So, what is the definition of "intelligent"? Is intelligence defined by telling you what you plainly want to hear? People telling you what you don't want to hear must be unintelligent? Or are you just looking for support in doing what you want to do and a convenient source to blame when you're disappointed?

    Oh, BTW, I'd been told by one of the Gear Masters that we might expect a microZOTL loaner unit coming in. As always, I conduct a fair review, run a few measurements and include commentary if measurements are not reflective of sound quality. Any suggestions for other amps to compare to are welcome. Maybe someone could provide an Ember?

    i am very curious about your review purrin .... good news for me.... the Ember is for me an extraordinary amplifier because of his flexibility and price/quality ratio...i love it and cannot think to upgrade it except for a clearly more totl amp....

    elise amp are more in the same class price with the zotl than the Ember yes... and supposed to be very good ... i think it is a better battle with the zotl... i second this recommendation thanks

    I'm not ordering anything from Poland. If @Shaffer wants us to know how awesome it is, he's got to put some skin in the game and ship it over. I'll pay for shipping and insurance. That's how it works. No people hiding in their hidey holes. I have some transformer coupled Russian tube amps that Craig bought from some dude in Russia out of super curiosity. They are pretty good. Russians make better tube amps and airplane engines than Chinese. Maybe I will throw those into the mix.
