I haven’t had enough listening time to fully assess yet. It didn’t sound bad. I need to compare to the ZX2 and GOV2+.

Mine is quiet with the EE ESR which is hiss prone (little less than Spartan which would hiss with almost everything.)

    I’ve had zero hiss from any of my transducers. HD6XX, PM-3, Noble X, er6i, Monk+, Koss KSC75

I’ve never heard the Andros without at least a little hiss. With this, there’s no difference between the IEMs unplugged vs plugged in. Total silence.

The Andros are hiss free on high gain also. There is a small thump when changing volume level with nothing playing though. It isn't really an issue. I'd say it is at least on par or better than my iPhone SE (sound quality). For $99.00 I am quite happy with this little guy.

If you find any specific file that's causing these problems, can you send it to me for testing? We are running different Hi-res through it and didn't really had problem with crashes/glitches.

M1 screens protector is too big. If you want to have something for M0, my advice is to get any random cheap screen protector and cut it to matching size.

New firmware update coming next week, maybe even later today if engineer is quick.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I switched mine to high gain as well. I actually didn’t hear a drastic difference in volume between low and high gain, I still have to crank it to high 30s/lower 40s for good listening levels with the Andro.

The sound quality definitely beats my iPhone with headphone dongle, will see if I can get some time to compare against the ZX2 and GO tonight. And I definitely will be testing it as a transport for the GO separately from the comparisons. In terms of the Andros, it’s going to have that low Z out sound, darker, bassier. I don’t mind that with the Andros, they get some good punch that way. I will be trying this also with my modded BW-ES1 and TE-02n, both dynamics so they won’t be affected by the output impedance.

I tried Bluetooth again and got a much better connection. I will test it on my drive home, maybe something in the car is interfering with the signal.

I have ordered the almost-blitzwolfs that @Bina has found available here in China (UiiSii HI-820). I'm interested in hearing how they match up with the M0.

    Good news everyone!

    Download from Google drive

    New functions:
    1. Support of LDAC codec added to Bluetooth receiver mode.
    2. Support of AAC codec added to Bluetooth receiver mode.
Note: Volume of M0 will be controlled by connected iOS device.
    3. If Bluetooth headphones/speakers are connected to M0 over LDAC codec, M0 will automatically change quality setting depending on the strength of signal.

    Changes and fixes
    1. Optimization of touch sensitivity and system speed.
    2. Optimization of quality of Bluetooth connection.
    3. Optimization of battery indicator.
    4. Fixed the problem of Bluetooth connecting while charging.
    5. Fixed the problem of card reading error after waking up from standby mode.
    6. Fixed the problem of “Add to my favourite” symbol not changing colour properly.
    7. Fixed the problem of some album covers not displaying.
    8. Fixed the problem of stopping playback while using USB digital output.
    9. Fixed other small problems.

    How to update:
    1. Make sure that M0 is fully charged.
    2. Unzip the file and copy “update.bin” file into root folder of micro SD card. Card must be formatted to FAT32.
    3. Choose “System Update” in system settings and wait until system restarts.
    4. Check in settings “About M0” to be sure new firmware was installed.

It didn't seem to be specific files, but the transition between them, if that makes sense? They were HDTracks-produced FLAC, nothing fancy.

If I find a simply reproducible test case, I'll be happy to give you a shout. It seems a bit intermittent at the moment, playing the same album didn't always break, which makes it harder.

Also, shame about screen protectors.. I really like laminated glass protectors- I guess I'm being spoiled now. I still think it's a cute device, well worth the asking price ;)

Big difference in touchscreen. Going anywhere from the main menu is better now.

Just a heads up - I was able to update firmware with an exFAT formatted micro sd card.

The M0 sounds fantastic with the BW-ES1. The sound is incredibly spacious, almost cavernous. The bass is taut and powerful. I may prefer this as a source for the Blitzwolf over the Geek Out.

I'm no IEM connosieur, but micropored A&D D6 sound damn fine out of it, especially considering the whole package cost.

When I tried to do my first update from 1.0 to 1.5 I was unable to update until I formatted to Fat32. Never had that with the M1.

I stumbled into this thread. It looks sweet.

If I had a need for portable audio, I'd buy. Sadly, I don't often need to even unplug from the desktop.
