So sad watching the Faiders. Can't blame it all on Cook, either.

That ESPN broadcasting team is really awful. I haven't had cable in a decade now so I never see MNF and it doesn't look like I'm missing much.

Oh this young Seattle offensive line... I have great hopes for it next year, but it's been a struggle this year for sure.

Meh, after the Carr accident, nobody really expected the Raiders to win. Osweiler didn't look as crappy as he did all season (which isn't saying much). That Houston defense is going to be even scarier next year with Watt coming back.

The game I'm most interested in seeing is the Giants and Packers. Eli and the Giants always seem to step it up in the postseason, and Green Bay caught fire at the right time. I could honestly see either team having a chance to win the Super Bowl.

On another note, my chain for watching the playoff games is: USB > Modi MB > Jotunheim pre > Yamaha A-S801 > AV123 ELT525/ Hsu VTF-1 mk1.

...not the greatest speakers. Online streaming audio quality is crap!

Sure it looked good when you play against an invalid team.

Naw, it's not just that. They were statistically the no. 1 team on defense this season.

As a representative of the 13th man (I figure that the 12th man is actually _at_ the Seahawk's game cheering, so the 13th man is bringing up the noise from home in front of the TV), Seahawks are going all the way.

To be fair, everyone has been looking good against the Lions recently (and I say this as a long-suffering Lions fan). Depending on fourth quarter comebacks the entire season is just not a sustainable way to win, and it caught up with them in the end.

Man, choking receivers, sleepy play, and awful play calling down the stretch from Big Blue. I'm almost glad they were put out of their misery early instead of having to go deeper into the playoffs. Eli showed up like he usually does. Rodgers was nasty, but was also helped by a lot of zone looks. When are teams going to learn to jam Packers receivers? They love slants, have since the Favre days, but every year they get away with it. My (arm chair and probably worthless) opinion is that delayed blitzes + disguised undercutting of routes are the ticket to beating Rodgers, chops their quick plays at the knees. And I don't have to, but I will go out of my way to say the guy who fielded that KO at the 3yd line, the one that was going out of bounds, is a moron. SMH.

Steelers looked like they usually do in the post season: semi-dirty. They have a solid chance to go deep.

That hit by Steelers safety Sean Davis on the KC receiver late in the game was kind of brutal. I don't get how the league dishes out just 15 yard penalties for potentially life-changing hits. It should be something like a 7-14 point penalty, which might just stop Pittsburgh and other teams from going for them.

It was a hard hit, but not a dirty one.

Kansas City played terrible. In fact all the games so far sucked, except the Dallas/Green Bay game.

It's not about whether it was dirty, but about hits like that being dangerous.

The Squealers have always been allowed to operate by a different set of rules. When other teams hit them, it's dirty and illegal. When Pitt. does it, they're just a bunch of hard-nosed football gods.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm not a fan. :p

Revival of this thread due to upcoming Super Bowl. Sad to say but the Patriots are probably going to win, and me along with 90% of the rest of America will be sad.
