Another mid-fi crisis phone that came in the magic box. However, this one I was curious about given how close it looks to certain Beats models.

The cans a uber-comfy with super-soft and ear-friendly pads. The weight is right. With lots of colors to choose from, and a non-dork design, folks are likely to wear these in the street w/o being laughed at...

    maybe...

The Nonetech Hams are supposed to be powered by a large 50mm driver and they are packed with SCCB HD acoustic technology. I don't know what SCCB HD means, but it sounds like awesome and win all violently smashed together.

All in all the bass is of decent quality and extension. No horrible signs of wonkiness due to heavy mids coloration. There is perhaps a little treble elevation, but I wouldn't call it annoying. The cans manage to be fun and reasonably non-fatiguing. There is decent resolution, but not a resolution monster.

These headphones isolate well and have a solid construction. They also neatly fold for storage.

Great closed can considering styling, and price ranging from $60-$100 ($200 retail).

Below are more subjective assessments and measurements:

I agree with Marvey that the mids are very good for a closed headphone type. A well executed fun and reasonably priced headphone.

Wow. I was not expecting measurements looking that good!

A potential budget recommendation for friends who want to "look the part". ;)

    Rotflmao, nice.

How do these compare to, say, CAL! or m50?

Yup. My wife actually liked them. She tried them on and said something on the order of "nice" or "kool" or something like that. Most of the time she looks at me with random phones and giggles saying "you look funny". Obviously it's the cans.

I'll try to put up a plot comparo tonite. But I would likely pick these over those. Though IMO it's a close call between these and the CAL!.

Always wanted to try them. Seems that at the price, these are a VERY SOLID option! Good job on measurements! :)

Good enough for Leaderboard? My only concern is the cheap construction (but really no worse than the original Beats Studio).

I would say so. If one digs the styling, these don't sound bad and the price seems reasonable to me.

Very confortable as well, which is not that common on close type headphones.

I know it's over-ear vs on-ear, but maybe see how the Zoro II HD compares before throwing it on the leaderboard?

Will see Hands. These are really good across the board though. Surprisingly so.
