Norne S3 Cables

The Norne S3 Silvergarde is Norne's top cable. You can get in various strengths if you are so inclined. The basic is a 4 wire model and you can go up from there to a 12 wire. I have both 4 wire and 8 wire for my ZMF Verite and thought I would take a picture for the forum incase someone is interested. Remember, the more wires, the stiffer the cord.

 

I heard and liked a copper Norne Draug V3 for its effects on HD800SDR. I’m interested in comparing the 4 wire S3 to the ZMF Michanikos that I use with my Verite. Maybe we could do a cable loaner swap and post our thoughts here?

 

How long did it take to get the 8 wire version?
I tried ordering from Trevor twice in the span of 9 months & both times, contact was eventually just stopped.

 

It took me from October when I ordered to today to get my wire. On Black Friday, I ordered two cords and received them last week. You have to send him the Occasional Email to remind him that you are still alive. If you order on his website you will get your order sooner since he realizes that he has your money. PayPal holds his money until he is ready to ship. I have bought several cords from Trevor and he knows me and that I am patient. I have not paid for my 8 wire yet since Trevor has not invoiced me at PayPal.
Gaspasser, Trevor has a new Draug copper and silver mixed cable. Check the Norne Website. I am sure you enjoyed that Draug 3 on your HD 800. I know that I do!!

 

It takes a minimum of 150 hours of music to break in Norne silver cables As I sit here listening to Tidal Masters on my Verite' with the 8 wire S3 Norne, it has been changing during the last two hours of use. Bass slam got better snd soundstage began emerging.

 

I got the Silver/Copper Draug for my Stella. The exact same one as on the picture. It looks gorgeous and sounds sublime!
The turnaround was really fast, too. Less than 2 weeks.
