I bought a full JBL component system and powered sub for my truck. The cost of custom installation led to procrastination until the need evaporated.
I have some 3/4 inch Baltic Birch.
    JBLs
    6x8
    1 inch dome tweet
    3 inch dome mids
    three way crossovers

12 inch powered sub [no advice just know it is in the mix (pun intended)]

I am not looking to learn how to diy speakers generally.
I am looking for the best way to make what I have, sound right.

Current plan is to mount all either face or recessed to a flat board and make some feet.
If anyone has opinions on the layout or front or rear mount please chime in.

I have a 2 channel amp that matches the need of the component system perfectly.
I will probably get an alpine single din head unit (only ever bought alpine heads)

I own a jigsaw, plunge router and drill

    Thanks in advance.

System is going into a 16 x 24 insulated, shellacked 3/4" plywood walls and poly sealed ply floor, room/building. On a short wall.
