Haha, that's how I usually feel about these players but I just thought I'd check.

I believe there is a thread on head-fi. I think, and I could be wrong as usual,I think there were a few people that claimed to have heard and liked it.

I'm considering purchasing one of these after all. I went with the onkyo DP-X1 but unfortunately it had a bad headphone jack and I returned it, that doesn't give me much confidence that even if there was one with a better headphone jack that it would stay that way after a few hundred insertions. I'm considering getting this to replace my DP-X1, I might give the onkyo another shot too and just see which I like better if the onkyo has a fine headphone jack.

I would strongly suggest to try before you buy.

I heard the Opus#1 with my Andromedas. Piano timbre was so off and digital sounding. Voices felt weird as if passed through a synthesiser. I would avoid this DAP like the plague! Horrible sounding to my ears.

Questlye QP1R on the other hand sounded much better with crystal clear and more natural timbre.

Mojo was excellent bar the expected excessive bass due to its low output impedance being a poor match to the crazy sensitive Andromedas.
