Personal Loaner: Oriolus Isabellae

Up for tour is my personal set of the Isabellae, a single DD IEM from Chinese/Japanese IEM maker Oriolus. It's kind of set a personal benchmark for me as far as satisfaction with a single DD IEM goes so I wanted to give some others a chance to hear them.

I am not a full time or a long time established member of this community and am not wanting to have the IEMs out of my hands for an insane amount of time so I pre-selected a group of people I have some sense of and who I felt might most appreciate the Isabellae.

Ostensibly this is a closed tour but I will consider adding a couple more (Friends and Contributors on a case by case basis) if there is interest.

@shotgunshane will be receiving the IEMs first and will be helping to manage the tour while the IEMs are in the US. Participants can keep them 5-7 days.

Included in the tour pack will be the IEMs, a 3.5 PW#5 cable (not the stock cable), a CFA mesh pouch and a Dignis Arca case and some desiccant. I will not be including any tips.

I will manage the IEMs coming to and from Canada. While in the US please insure them for $600 and ship UPS/Fedex.

This tour will just be for US members. I will do a separate tour for Canadians afterward.

Please share impressions (I don't think there is a dedicated thread yet-- perhaps I will create one).

Lastly, please communicate in this thread when sending and receiving the IEMs (and from whom etc.)

This is the suggested order-- with the exception of the first and last it's flexible. I remember @Stuff Jones mentioning that he was going to be out of town until some time in Aug so he may need to go later.

My pleasure man it feels nice to give something back to a community that has been inestimably helpful to me over the years. If even one of you guys winds up connecting with this IEM as I did it will be worth it . Alternately, if you all think it's ass then I guess it's the thought that counts.

 

@Rockwell and @YMO -- I'm only back in the country end of next week. So they should go to @Kunlun and maybe @Tchoupitoulas before me, if that's doable.

Package is still stuck inside a FedEx Ground facility since yesterday in my backyard. Hopefully they get it to a truck on delivery...minor delay ATM.

 

After f'ing forever, FedEx is delivering the package to my local FedEx office today. Depending on when they deliver it, I should be able to pick it up today or tomorrow.
