My Pit/Ridgeback mix. 85lbs of terror. Just ask the mailman.

The cats wouldn't sit still long enough for the pics.

This is my 5 year old daughters yabby, aptly name Fingerbite. I never thought an invertebrate could harbour thoughts of malice, but he despises me. The feeling is mutual. He is like a ninja with an exoskeleton. Somehow he keeps breaking out of his tank and ends up dried out and dying on the carpet. I can revive him by picking him up and rehydrating his gills, but he always seems to summon enough strength to still pinch one of my fingers. Total a-hole.

Lol - didn't even know what a Yabby was!

Apparently they can live for up to 10 years. I'm sorry.

I will add more and better quality pictures in the near future, but this is Jax! He is an 6.5 week old Siberian husky that we got (/rescued) today!

My avatar is "Hanar The Horrible". My best friend through college, multiple breakups, and multiple military deployments. I don't know what he is/was, but he was without a doubt the most dog-like cat I have ever encountered. Gone for two days? He would sit in the window howling and you could hear him from the street. Loved attention, and dominating other dogs. That was one of my last pictures of him. I was out on maneuvers and on the vet's advice my wife put him to sleep. Some kind of eating disorder cats get. Only option was to surgically put a feeding tube through his abdomen into his stomach…didn't want to do that to him. Shit of it is I ran into someone last week who's cat had the same thing and lived five years after the fact.

He was dumped on me by an ex-girlfriend. Much less painful than the other thing she left me with, itches less too.

How do you guys get such high quality photos of your pets? Every picture of my dog on my phone looks like crap in comparison

If your phone has manual camera settings you can use that for setting the shutter speed higher so it creates a "freeze frame" compared to a blurry shot. Good light helps as it will bump up the shutter speed as well if it is just auto. Just try to play around with some of your phone camera's settings, and if it has any modes, especially a sport mode, use that.

Overall though I would recommend picking up an actual camera if you really want to start taking more pictures. That or getting them while the sleep is good too!
