Cheap, quick, and dirty. Exact opposite strengths vs my old Maggie 3.6R system. Love that the L55s sound best on the wall!

My home office, where I've been spending a LOT of time since I got the monitors setup!
Being laid-off and ending up freelancing has had it's benefits! :)

It's actually 2 different 2-ways :) The mid/highs are an either/or situation, either FE108EZs crossed over at 300Hz or Faital HF146 crossed over at 500Hz on the big Faital tractrix horn.

Adorable too! Might get better sound if you angled the speakers down, being so short. ;)

My recent acquisition: Heresy III Capitol Edition

So far the only tweaks are: JW Audio jumpers (see image below) and Herbie's Fat Dots under the feet of the risers.

I also bought a pair of SVS SB-1000 subwoofers to augment the low end. Have not hooked them up yet. Waiting for the cables. But, on their own with the reinforcement of the floor there is satisfying bass from the Heresy IIIs. I might not need the subs.

Will need to do a bit of acoustic treatment in this room. Ordered a couple of monster bass traps from GIK Acoustics.

Ignore the walls, they’re in the midst of being repainted.

    - Graham Chartwell LS6
    - Dynaudio Special Forty

Do you own the LS6 or temporarily auditioning it? What are your thoughts? It does nothing for me, but I love all of the other Graham stuff.

Just auditioning. Actually fairly impressed with them so far - like an LS 3/5A but with more bass and impact. They needed to be run in for a while though before they started to sound decent - they only had like 20 hours or so on them and sounded boring as hell initially. Almost took them right back, but now they sound much better. Which other Graham have you heard?

@rlow that's a pretty serious ensemble of monitors you've got there. I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on how they compare to one another if you were planning on doing a shootout.
