    Hi folks,
yes, i'm new to this forum, yes i might make foolish mistakes and ask even more foolish questions. In advance: I'm sorry, may the gods of audiophilisity forgive or ban me.
    - i was writing down the story of my life here, but decided to cut it down and get straight to the questions (if anyone's still interested, i might still explain myself, but i highly doubt it) -

    First, what it own atm:
    HD 700, B&W S9, B&W P5 s1 AND s2, Chord Mojo.

Second, what i plan to own in the not so distant future:
HD 600, HD 700, HD 800 or 800S, B&W S9, B&W P5 s1, a mobile DAC/AMP which is or is not the Mojo, AND: a desktop AMP or DAC/AMP that is a good match for the majority of these HP. (+ maybe someday: aeon flow closed or ether c flow;)

So yes, i'm sort of a collector. Yes, i do want to expand my arsenal. And what i need now, is a desktop AMP or DAC/AMP combo, which will be at least a good, if not a great match for the majority of those cans. Are there any DAC/AMP-combos, which you would consider to drive a notably wide range of different cans really well? Or do i have to narrow the range, because no DAC/AMP will accommodate both a HD800 and B&W S9 aend an ether c flow? I.e. a AMP/DAC for the Sennis and something else for the rest? Price for new or used (!!) should be around/under 1000 € and it should be available in the EU. I also don't have a preference for tube amp or solid state. Features like DSD or MQA (...) would be great, but is no must. USB+Toslink would be great though, It also shouldn't roll of the trebles like the Mojo does, with the HD 700 it's kind of ridiculus, how much more trebles i get from an onboard sound card.
Second question: can the Chord Mojo be of any use in a desktop HP setup, i.e. by running its line out through a more powerful amp? Could even a Magni 3 or something like it be useful?

I hope i did explain my situation well enough... maybe you can help me along with this.

    Thank you!!

    Regards,
    Simon

I built this a couple months back. It's a chi-fi build of a Topping D10 and 2x SMSL SAP-IIs for shared listening and A/B headphone testing. I can do volume matching and use a Y-cable from the DAC to feed both amps simultaneously. It's nothing close to the systems that people build here, but it cost me less then $300 USD so there's that...
